A complete map of the Tibetan Buddhist path from beginning to end, as taught by the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. It is based on the teachings presented at the annual three-month meditation and study retreats known as the Vajradhatu Seminaries, which he led every summer from 1973 to 1986.

We will continue with first volume, The Path of Individual Liberation, which presents the teachings of the hinayana. The hinayana introduces core Buddhist teachings on the nature of mind, the practice of meditation, the reality of suffering, and the possibility of liberation. It examines the nature of suffering, impermanence, and egolessness, with an emphasis on personal development through meditative discipline and study.

Ayurveda and the Sacred Feminine with Guest Julia ByremAnnie Marks

This is an exploration of a new way of being in the world: an opportunity for humans of all genders. Right now all beings are in need of some serious healing and connecting with our balanced selves is a great place to begin. In this culture and especially in the current cultural climate we are expected to achieve and maintain a very high and somewhat aggressive energy level, which is commonly labeled as “masculine.” This, combined with endemic disconnect and distraction, has many of us “burning the candle at both ends” - consuming our energy faster than we can generate it - and existing in a perpetual state of depletion. In order to find balance we must learn what the counterbalancing energy is and how to employ it. The “feminine” is the medicine. This workshop will look at the idea of a balanced lifestyle through the lenses of Ãyurveda and spirituality. Don’t let any of these terms daunt you—the concept is simple and sweet at its core. The way to achieve balance is to open ourselves to the rhythms and cycles of nature; and exploring the duality of “masculine” and “feminine” is a great place to start. Methodology will include embodied discussion, movement, meditation and lecture regarding balanced lifestyle management and personal philosophy.
