Workshops—Listen, Ask Questions, and Grow

Workshops foster dialogue and allow our teachers to explain the science and art of mindful movement. We strongly encourage workshop attendance, offered in formats of 60, 75, 90, and 120 minutes, for those who want to elevate their practice.

Members receive complimentary in-house workshops and a 10% discount off all workshops presented by guest teachers.

How to Start Meditating (and stick to it!) with Alison Driscoll
Wednesdays: 4/18, 5/16, 6/6, and 7/18 - 5:30 – 6:15

Join us for a practical introduction to the practice of mindfulness- awareness meditation. Together we will explore formal instruction in sitting meditation. We will discuss the common pitfalls and obstacles to maintaining a regular meditation practice and how to overcome them. Each session will conclude with a brief question and answer period (time permitted).

Restorative Yoga with Debbie Galla ERYT-500

Restorative Yoga focuses on opening and relaxing your body, providing an opportunity to heal and renew in poses held for up to five minutes.  Props will be used for support so that the body can surrender while the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated for a lower heart rate and healthy immune system.  This class is open to all levels and is an optimal way to go deeper by slowing down.

Deep relaxation is the easiest way to access the subconscious. In Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), we use deep relaxation as a means to plant the seed of the sankalpa (intention) to create lasting, meaningful change in our lives. In relaxation, your body becomes receptive to your desire for transformation. It is said that the intention you sincerely set for Yoga Nidra – to quit smoking, to be loving and kind, to find forgiveness – is bound to come true.

We will begin with a gentle practice to prepare our bodies for Yoga Nidra.  Please bring a blanket.

Intro to the Yoga Sutras with Chris Gorsuch RYT200

This introductory class will go over the common Sanskrit terms, yoga philosophy, and history of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.  The class is designed to assist students to a better understanding of what the ancient texts mean and how they can be applied to their modern life.

We reserve the right to cancel any workshop within 24 hours of its start due to low enrollment.

Payment in full is required at the time of registration for any scheduled event or workshop.

Refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received no later than two weeks prior to the date of the event.

Cancellation and refund requests received no later than seven days prior to the event/workshop start date will receive credit toward another service, workshop, or event.

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations received fewer than seven days prior to the start date of any event/workshop.
