How the Cleanse works:
You are going to mix each ingredient into a drink that tastes like lemonade. Each ingredient has a purpose. Frequency of the drink increases detoxification effect so drink as much as you can usually averaging to 6-12 glasses daily for 10 days. The following mixture is per 10 oz. Serving.
1. Water- To nourish the cells and keep your body hydrated (10 oz. Glass, spring or purified)
2. Lemons- Helps loosen and break up mucus in the body. It is a powerful cleanser and is high in vitamins. (2 Tbsp lemon juice – approx. 1/2 lemon)
3. Grade B Maple Syrup-one of the most balanced of all sugars; it will keep your sugar level balanced and keep you moving (2 Tbsp genuine maple syrup)
4. Cayenne Pepper-is a blood vessel dilator, thermal warmer and provides vitamin A. (dash yet more if you can handle)
NOTE: Exercise enhances the cleansing action of the program. If you feel well enough to exercise, DO IT! After the first couple of days, exercise will be easier.
What to Expect:
Some people yet not all experience minor discomforts like headaches, upset stomach, tiredness, or dizziness in the first few days of the cleanse. These will go away. The side effects come as a result of your body detoxifying just as a drug addict would go through a de-tox. This is when you realize how many toxins are being stored in your body. It is a good idea to quit any caffeine the week before starting the cleanse (sodas, coffee, hot or cold tea). You don’t want to have caffeine withdrawal added to the discomforts mentioned above.
Keep in mind:
• You are doing this for your health. This is the BEST thing you can do to prevent cancer, ulcers, kidney infections and other diseases. The bonus is that you will probably loose a pound for every day that you are on the cleanse.
• When people tell you that you are crazy for doing this, don’t listen. Encourage them and tell them that they could do it to if there just put their mind to it!
• When you are finished with this cleanse you will be more empowered than you’ve ever felt in your life. You are going to cleanse for 10 days. Many people have done this cleanse for over 40 days.
• Before you begin: Dedicate yourself to the cleanse! The full 10 days is required to fully receive the benefits. Particularly the last 3 days when your body is fully cleansing!
Coming off the Cleanse:
Coming off the cleanse is just as important as being on it! Your intestinal tract and stomach are very sensitive now that the inner lining have been cleaned. Please follow the following recommendation:
1. The morning of the 11th day start your day with freshly squeezed Orange Juice. Take a good 20 minutes to drink 16 ounces. The reason is because the enzymes that are released from your mouth have been shut down and the slower you drink the juice the more time your body has to turn those enzymes back on.
2. Lunch have a bowl of Miso soup or organic vegetable broth with some organic vegetables.
3. Do the same as lunch for dinner
4. The next day be mindful as you start to reintroduce healthy solid foods back into your eating. Chew your food and don’t over eat.
5. Enjoy your new beginning……….demons are cleared!!!!!!!!!!
