Awakening Our Greatness


This course is for anyone who would like to get more out of life. We will not be practicing yoga postures so you don't need any previous yoga experience. The only thing required for this course is a willingness and a desire to want to grow and be happier.

The Living an Empowered Life program identifies our true nature to be pure creativity, pure awareness, and pure love. Participants gain the ability to reduce suffering, increase possibility, and promote partnership in daily life and the lives of those that surround us. Living an Empowered Life provides tools and practices for powerful transformation. Be prepared to leave the workshop with hope, inspiration, and the ability to cultivate a healing presence within yourself, family, workplace and community. What asana and pranayama are for your yoga practice, this program is for your life practice. Program will consist of meditation instruction, yoga philosophy, daily practices, spiritual readings, journaling, and transformative groups.
September 25th— Bridging the Gap Complimentary Open House Meditation and talk on Living an Empowered Life. - This talk will be an overview to Living an Empowered Life. We will explore the possibilities that your life presents on a daily basis and how the practice of meditation and Hatha yoga can manifest the life you dream of.
October 16th- Ways of Being- Becoming Alive and Awake in the world. Develop a practice of cultivating an internal observer to; what is happening and how am I relating to it? Gain the ability to notice when we are in small mind and shift to large minded thinking.
November 6th– Ways of Doing- Learn how to translate our care and compassion into effective action in the world. In a staff meeting, around the kitchen table, during conflict. In Ways of Doing we introduce the notion of practice, how to create a practice for yourself, and tips on how to keep it lively.
December 4th– Ways of Speaking – How we speak about the world shapes our internal states and our actions. We choose to speak in ways that forward life for ourselves and those around us. Learn how to listen and identify our inner “Gremlin”. Participate in healing conversations, and rewrite our personal stories.
January 8th - Life as Unity One – We are already whole and deeply interconnected. This course illustrates the deep interdependence of all, in ways that you may have never experienced. With this work we will feel supported and at ease, with the knowledge that we are not doing anything alone, and that the universe is supporting us. Gain the ability to shift to partnership first and exchange “power over” for “partnership with”.
January 29th – The Five Movements of Life – Each seasons provides on opportunity for renewal, and reflection. For thousands of years indigenous people have been deeply connected to nature and the unique gifts that each season offers. We will learn to access and embody these gifts in ourselves and use them for conflict resolution and Living an Empowered Life.
February 19th – Life in Conflict – We explore the inevitability of conflict, and the many forms of conflict that emerge in life. Building on the foundation we have cultivated in being a healing presence, we apply the practice for resolution and restoration.
March 5th– Calling and Commitment – We will formulate and embody a unique and personal promise for self, community, and world. Explore the world’s wisdom traditions in building a larger worldview and context. To live the promise in the widest possible context.
